Six years after studying at NTNU’s Overseas Chinese Preparatory Programs, Andrew returned to share the uncertainty, habits, and interdisciplinary turns behind his path into medicine.
The talk was designed for people still imagining whether medical school could become their path—not as a victory lap, but as the explanation he wished he could have heard earlier.
Teaching principles

Clarity without flattening.
The same habit that supports clinical-engineering translation also shapes how Andrew teaches.
Meet the audience’s real question
A medical student, a clinician, and an engineer do not need the same first sentence.
Make ideas inspectable
Use a case, diagram, prototype, or decision trail so the explanation has something concrete to hold.
Explain what comes next
A good session leaves people with a structure they can reuse, not only an impression of expertise.
